These week long, one-to-one, courses are designed to help children become more imaginative, more expressive, and more confident communicating their ideas.
Every day introduces:
- rich new vocabulary
- creative discussion and storytelling
- guided writing tasks
- inference and language exploration
- themed activities designed to spark curiosity and excitement
Themes vary across the week and may include:
- mysterious maps and hidden worlds
- unusual creatures and characters
- storms, journeys and discoveries
- magical objects and secret places
- historical adventures and curious inventions
The aim is not simply to produce longer writing. It is to help children:
- generate ideas more independently
- use more precise and adventurous vocabulary
- build stronger descriptions and sentence structures
- explain their thinking clearly
- become more confident approaching unfamiliar writing tasks
Dates: Weeks of July 27th and August 3rd
Times: 30 minutes sessions daily Monday to Friday. Various slots available – enquire for details
